Life Science Washington is an independent, non-profit trade association serving Washington state's life sciences sector. It operates under 501(c)(6) status and represents member organizations involved in or supportive of research, development, and commercialization of life science technologies. The organization acts as a central hub for the state's life sciences, advocating for public policy and private investment and linking researchers, investors, and entrepreneurs to promote growth and healthier communities. The life sciences scope includes biotechnology, medical devices, biopharmaceuticals, health IT, global health, bio-agriculture and bio-fuel. It is based in Seattle, Washington. Recent activity includes participation in the 27th Annual Summer Social in July 2025, and it released an Economic Impact Report in 2023 highlighting the size and employment impact of the state's life sciences sector.
