Liberty Counsel® (LC) is a Christian ministry founded by Mat and Anita Staver in 1989. Projects that include an international nonprofit litigation, education, and policy ministry dedicated to advancing religious freedom, the sanctity of life, and the family; a ministry to persecuted Christians overseas, and an international prayer ministry, among others.  From offices in Florida, Virginia and Washington, D.C., LC proclaims, advocates, supports, advances, and defends the good news that God in the person of Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sins and offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who accept him as Lord and Savior. Every ministry and project centers around and is based upon this truth.
