La Scuola d’Italia is a private school serving students from Pre-K through High School in New York. Located on the Upper East Side in a 17,000-square-foot mansion built in 1916 at 12 East 96th Street, the campus is near Central Park. Founded in 1977, it positions itself as the city’s and North America’s first Italian international school offering a continuous Pre-K through High School program. The school uniquely combines the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme with the Italian High School Diploma, enabling graduates to pursue higher education at universities around the world. Its approach blends classical and scientific studies with practical applications to prepare students for university-level study in the United States or abroad, supported by a mid-sized private school community.
