Our Mission: We create peace through youth leadership, community service, global friendships, and thoughtful acts of kindness.

Our History: Kids for Peace is a California-based global nonprofit that is uplifting our world through love and action. Inspired by Gandhi’s quote, “If we are to achieve lasting peace, we must begin with the children,” Kids for Peace was founded in 2006 by a mom and a high school honors student. In ten years, Kids for Peace has launched over 350 chapters with our projects reaching 121 countries. Our chapters are made up of boys & girls of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds. Steadily, Kids for Peace has grown from a "club of caring kids" to a worldwide movement of kids creating a culture of peace, love and kindness.

Everything we do is based on our Peace Pledge. Kids meet regularly to put the words of our Peace Pledge into action in ways that are personally meaningful and culturally relevant.

Our PEACE PLEDGE
I pledge to use my words to speak in a kind way.
I pledge to help others as I go throughout my day.
I pledge to care for our earth with my healing heart and hands.
I pledge to respect people in each and every land.
I pledge to join together as we unite the big and small.
I pledge to do my part to create peace for one and all.

Featured on Good Morning America, our signature program is The Great Kindness Challenge, a school-wide bully-prevention initiative. In 2017, we engaged over 10 million students in 15,057 schools who inspired over half a billion acts of kindness.

With optimism and tenacity, we work to fulfill our mission and vision. Our vision is a safe and peaceful world where all people respect and care for each other and our planet. Kids for Peace serves as a model and inspiration for creating this reality with children leading the way, not only for today, but for generations to come.
