Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company Ltd. operates a crude oil refinery founded in 1956, with production starting in 1961. The facility is located in Zarqa, about 35 kilometers east of Amman, and its headquarters are in the capital. The company also owns a lubricants blending facility, LPG bottling stations and storage facilities in Amman, Zarqa, and Irbid, along with an oil terminal and storage facility in Aqaba. 

Its lubricants plant began production in 1977 and has grown to offer oils for engines, gears, hydraulics, and related applications, with quality control applied during blending, filling, and loading. Lubricants are packaged in metal cans of 1, 5, and 209 liters, or in plastic containers of 0.25, 5, 20, and 25 liters. A recent development is a memorandum of understanding with Al-Hussein Technical University to advance technical education, training, and innovation.
