The IU Center for Global Health Equity is a small, IU-affiliated unit within the higher education sector in Indianapolis, Indiana. It builds cross-disciplinary, cross-institutional and cross-country partnerships to design and implement sustainable health programs in underserved communities worldwide. The center also emphasizes building local capacity by preparing health education and health research professionals to assume leadership roles at local, national and global levels. Serving partner institutions and communities, the center addresses health disparities by enabling collaborations that advance health equity and human flourishing. As part of Indiana University, it leverages university resources to support its mission of creating lasting programs and developing future health leaders in underserved regions.
