The International Institute for Restorative Practices Graduate School, based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, operates as a mid-sized institution within the higher education sector that specializes in restorative practices through education, research, and consulting. It is described as the world's first accredited graduate school devoted to restorative practices, offering an academic program and applied learning opportunities in this field. It centers on the idea that human beings have an intrinsic need to connect and grow with others, and it aims to equip students and community leaders with tools to transform relationships in K-12 schools, four-year universities, NGOs, and community-based organizations.

The organization operates around Living Restorative Practices—a relational approach—along with Education, Consulting, and Research activities. Its mission is to strengthen relationships, support communities, influence social change, and broaden the field by partnering with practitioners, students, and scholars. In November 2024, the institute announced the appointment of Sethu Laxmi Nair to its board of trustees, marking a recent governance development.
