Inov8v Marine Group is a multi-discipline innovator of propulsion, sonar and video imaging technology for pleasure and commercial fishing craft.

Inov8v Marine formed in 2022 through the consolidation of ABT-TRAC propulsion, vessel stabilization, and hydraulic systems; SmartCatch underwater video imaging systems; and WESMAR propulsion, vessel stabilization and sonar systems.

WESMAR, originating as Western Marine Electronics, developed the world’s first solid-state sonar in 1965, and has gone on to develop the world’s first video sounder, first continuous-picture color sonar, and first dual-propeller counter rotational bow and stern thruster.

ABT-TRAC, which began as Arcturus Marine Systems in 1986, recently introduced the industry’s first electrically driven stabilizers, delivering hydraulic performance without hydraulic overhead.
