InnovMetric is an independent software developer that focuses on 3D measurement and metrology software for manufacturers seeking to digitize and improve their inspection workflows. It has a long-standing history in the field, having introduced point-cloud based dimensional inspection in 2000 and later establishing a universal 3D metrology software platform in 2006. The company’s PolyWorks suite is widely used in the industry, with adoption by large industrial manufacturers as their standard 3D metrology platform, and it serves a global customer base across many countries. Based in Quebec City, Canada, InnovMetric operates as a multinational organization dedicated to placing 3D measurement data at the center of manufacturing processes. In May 2026, the company launched PolyWorks 2026, signaling progress toward a connected inspection environment where dimensional data moves seamlessly across plants, suppliers, and engineering and manufacturing systems.
