IFEN GmbH is a Bavarian-based company that develops GNSS testing solutions for the satellite navigation market. Its offerings combine hardware and software to support testing and validation of navigation systems, including simulators, RF signal generators, and test environments that replicate GNSS signals. The firm has a history rooted in GNSS service contracts, initially around EGNOS development and Galileo, before expanding into commercial navigation products and turnkey test ranges. Based in Poing, Bavaria, IFEN positions itself as a provider of reliable tools for developers and testers in a market long dominated by a quasi-monopolistic competitor. In 2022, the company released an updated version of its RF signal simulator, reflecting ongoing product development.
