Ice Hockey In Harlem is a nonprofit, community-based organization for youth that uses hockey to promote academic achievement, responsibility, teamwork, and good character. It began in winter 1987 with about forty participants aged 9–12, combining weekly classroom sessions with one on-ice night at Lasker Rink near Central Park, under the guidance of co-founders Dave Wilk and Todd Levy and with support from former Ranger Pat Hickey. The program quickly expanded, raising funds to send a player to a summer hockey camp in California and growing into a respected model within the hockey community.

Based in New York City, the organization operates as a small nonprofit focused on youth development through sport and has persisted for more than three decades. A notable recent development reported in 2024 is a collaboration with Clark Park Detroit to support MLK Day activities.
