Healthix is the largest public Health Information Exchange (HIE) in the nation, serving New York City and Long Island. We collect data from more than 2,000 organizations, across 9,000 healthcare facilities for +21 million patients. We are devoted to developing, deploying and operating innovative uses of interoperable health information technology and analytics to facilitate patient-centric care and promote improved health care quality, coordination, and outcomes for New Yorkers. Healthix was formed through several mergers, including NYCLIX, LIPIX, BHIX, and, most recently, NYCIG. Healthix brings to bear a great deal of expertise in delivering health information exchange services, access to clinical data and the tools to support improved outcomes for patients. Among the key objectives for Healthix is expanding health information exchange (HIE) among its Participants while shaping a robust relationship with the New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC) for development of the State Health Information Network for New York (SHIN-NY).
