Giassi Supermercados is a regional retailer based in Criciúma, Santa Catarina, Brazil, operating under the Giassi Supermercados and Combo Atacadista banners along the coastline of the state. The group traces its origins to 1960, when Zefiro Giassi opened a dry goods and hardware shop in Içara; as it grew, groceries were added and construction materials became part of the offerings, with the first supermarket launching in 1970 after the Içara store shifted to a self service format. The company emphasizes proximity to local communities, delivering service and product quality at competitive prices within its regional market. In 2018 the group added a wholesale channel, Combo Atacadista, expanding its sales model to reach a broader customer base.
