Gharibwal Cement Limited is a cement producer headquartered in Lahore, Pakistan, with its plant at Ismailwal in Chakwal District, Punjab, and its cement has been used in major national infrastructure projects such as Mangla Dam and several barrages. Incorporated in 1960 as a public limited company, its equity shares trade on the Pakistan Stock Exchange under symbol GWLC, and it is a member of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The production facility has a clinker capacity of 6,700 tons per day and includes an in-house power plant of 38 MW to support operations. A 3.5-kilometer conveyor system transports raw materials from the quarry to the pre-blending yard, while limestone and shale reserves are estimated to be sufficient for about 200 years. GCL is pursuing expansion through a contract with CITIC China to install a new production line of 8,000 tpd and additional waste-heat recovery capacity, raising total clinker capacity to about 14,700 tpd, with a WHR plant currently under test that could generate up to 12 MW from gases and 8 MW from coal. In September 2025, the Punjab government approved the establishment of a new cement plant in Chakwal, indicating regional expansion activity.
