Gerber Tours is a company rooted in the belief that enriching students’ lives through educational travel is vital to their learning experience. The company was founded in 1982 by a former educator who understood the unique needs of a student tour. 

At Gerber Tours, we believe that travel should always be safe and well-planned for everyone involved. We know that each group we work with has different needs and we consistently work to provide the highest level of customization and service.

After many years as innovators in the student tour industry, Gerber Tours continues to provide safe, reliable, fun, educational travel programs to more than 25,000 thousand students & educators each year. We believe that as an industry leader, we have both the opportunity and the responsibility to make every student trip a once in a lifetime experience for its participants. 

Gerber Tours is committed to high levels of social responsibility and customer service. We advocate for industry-wide standards through active memberships in the following professional industry related organizations: The Student and Youth Travel Association (SYTA) as a founding Charter member, The National Tour Association (NTA), and The American Bus Association (ABA).  We are also a founding Charter member of the SYTA Youth Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) student travel philanthropy, whose mission is to provide access to travel opportunities for at-risk students as well as those with extreme financial hardship.
