The George Bush Presidential Library Foundation was established in 1991 as a nonprofit educational foundation to design, build and support the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum at Texas A&M University. In addition to sponsoring its own programs and activities, the George Bush Foundation provides program and financial support to the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum, as well as The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University. The George Bush Presidential Library Family is committed to supporting the teaching, preservation, and promotion of the values, ideals, records and artifacts of George H.W. Bush, 41st President of the United States. The Library and Museum promotes civic literacy and historical understanding of our national experience, and fosters a community of public service and volunteerism. The Bush School of Government and Public Service works to enable that community by educating and empowering a new generation of dedicated public servants to lead our nation and world.
