Freres Wood is a family-owned wood products company based in Lyons, Oregon, with roots dating back to 1922 when it began with a single founder's idea. It operates through Freres Lumber Co., Freres Timber, and Evergreen BioPower LLC, with two manufacturing sites in the Santiam Canyon and ownership of more than 17,000 acres of timberland. The company follows sustainable harvesting practices under the Oregon Forest Practices Act and holds American Tree Farm System certification, using wood across lumber, veneer, and fuel while developing Mass Ply engineered panels. It serves customers seeking traditional wood products as well as innovative engineered solutions for construction and development projects, emphasizing responsible resource use and a stable timber supply. A notable development is the expansion of Mass Ply production, with panels deployed in a range of structures, including the timber roof for Portland International Airport's new main terminal.
