The Financial Women of San Francisco is a professional association in the financial services sector based in San Francisco, focused on advancing professionalism and leadership for women in finance across the Bay Area. Originating from the Financial Women’s Association of San Francisco, it serves more than 300 members and provides a forum for discussion on business, finance, policy, and civic affairs, along with a network for professional development and a scholarship fund. The organization operates through two Bay Area chapters, in San Francisco and East Bay, and its members include executives and managers across finance roles such as CEOs, CFOs, bankers, fund managers, analysts, and attorneys.

It aims to promote career opportunities for women in finance and to gain broader recognition for women’s achievements, while offering professional development and leadership opportunities and fostering camaraderie and cooperation within the field. In late 2025, the group announced a collaboration with AssetMark, Inc. and Latinos in Finance to host a webinar on workplace proximity, reflecting ongoing engagement with contemporary workplace issues.
