Fairhaven is a residential treatment center that offers an opportunity for recovery from eating disorders and disordered eating in a structured, supportive, and tranquil therapeutic environment. Located on nine wooded acres outside of Memphis Tennessee, Fairhaven provides sanctuary and individualized treatment for those struggling to transcend the mental, physical and emotional health crises that result from an unhealthy relationship with food. Symptom control is foundational but recovery requires much more.

In the very unique environment that is Fairhaven, evidence-based treatment is utilized to treat both the eating disorder symptoms and co-occurring problems including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and other challenges that contribute to perpetuating the eating disorder. Fairhaven offers services to a maximum of ten residential clients at any one time allowing a high level of individual focus in a small community setting. Fairhaven can also coordinate different levels of care as needed by our clients, either at Fairhaven or with other treatment providers. Recovery often depends on the respite that residential treatment can provide and the dedicated support of professionals focused on the individual needs of this clinically complex population.
