Enveritas is an independent nonprofit focused on lifting smallholder farmers out of poverty while protecting the environment. It conducts field certification at origin, evaluating social, environmental, and economic practices in line with UN conventions and ILO treaties. Certification is offered at no cost to farmers, and the organization already includes millions of farms in its system.
