Founded in 1998 by Stephen Cosentino, DO, who serves as President and Medical Director, the company is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and has broadened its scope beyond aesthetics to cover broader healthcare and wellness topics.

Its university-style curriculum spans nearly 50 courses, covering aesthetics, anti-aging and regenerative medicine, dermatology, pain management, weight loss, hair restoration, Botox and other topical procedures, as well as cosmetic surgery, complemented by instruction in business practice, marketing, and social media management. EMT delivers more than 700 live, hands-on workshops and also offers numerous virtual programs and preceptorships. In 2020, the company launched the Center of Excellence and Innovation, a one-day premium Botox and dermal filler course.
