Elevator Industry Work Preservation Fund (EIWPF) operates as an industry-wide labor-management cooperation committee within the elevator sector. Based in Columbia, Maryland, it serves a broad network of more than 700 employers and 29,000 organized elevator constructors across the United States. The fund was created to strengthen labor-management relationships and to support competitiveness, productivity, organizational effectiveness, and economic development. It provides a forum for open discussions about challenges facing both workers and employers and facilitates joint approaches to occupational safety and health, along with improving communications between labor and management.

EIWPF also engages in public relations and public education initiatives to promote the organized elevator industry. In June 2025, the fund participated in the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference, collaborating with related industry organizations to connect students, instructors, and industry partners.
