Earshot Jazz is a Seattle-based non-profit arts and service organization established in 1984 to support jazz in the community and raise awareness of the genre. The organization presents nearly 100 concerts per year, including the Earshot Jazz Festival, the Art of Jazz series at the Seattle Art Museum, a Spring Series, the annual Duke Ellington’s Sacred Music performances, and other standalone events. Its publication program centers on a monthly newsletter containing reviews, previews, and profiles by Northwest writers, distributed free in Seattle for 30 years and available online.
