E4TheFuture is a small nonprofit based in Franklin, Massachusetts, focused on the U.S. energy efficiency workforce. It created the #FacesofEE initiative to illustrate the breadth and impact of energy efficiency jobs. In 2024-25, it partnered with the Building Performance Association to refresh the Faces of EE campaign and transferred leadership of the annual Energy Efficiency Jobs in America report to BPA, while continuing to support workforce development through Energy Specialist Apprenticeships.

The organization seeks to advance the integration of energy efficiency with other distributed energy resources to promote affordable, clean, and equitable energy for customers. Through activities such as coordinating the National Energy Screening Project and regional case studies, it engages policymakers and industry stakeholders in understanding the EE landscape. Faces of EE was launched in 2017, reflecting the organization's long-standing role in public education about the energy efficiency sector.
