Domus Inc., is a general construction company founded in 1976 that has completed a variety of commercial, multi-family residential and institutional projects throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We have considerable experience in new construction, rehabilitation and conversion of historic buildings into affordable housing. This experience includes numerous projects funded totally or in part by various federal, state and local government agencies. Our founding philosophy is to participate during the design development stage of a project assisting with project scheduling and cost estimating to develop the final project budget. Bringing our years of experience to the project we are able to give the owner options to fit within their budget. Construction is then performed under a stipulated sum or cost of the work plus a fee with a guaranteed maximum price contract. This affords the owner the luxury of knowing what the project is going to cost prior to the start of construction. Domus presently employs an office staff of more than twenty employees and a field work force in excess of one hundred construction workers performing its own carpentry, drywall, plumbing and general labor work contractor servicing Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
