Dingman’s Dairy traces its origins to a Divco home milk delivery operation in Sparta, NJ, which evolved into a wholesale milk division by the mid-1960s and gradually added ice cream. By 1970 the milk division was sold and the company concentrated on distributing ice cream. The business relocated its warehouse to Paterson, NJ, in 2005, where it operates today as a wholesale ice cream distributor serving a range of institutions.
In 2006 a confectionary supplies division broadened its product line and distribution footprint, including a nationwide UPS service. A larger facility and new fleet were added in 2008 as the company maintained focus on ice cream and related products, serving schools, hospitals, restaurants, convenience stores, camps, swim clubs, dip shops, and Dairy Queens. The company operates in the wholesale sector with a regional footprint in New Jersey and a nationwide distribution capability for confectionary supplies.
