DexMat is a Houston, Texas-based nanotechnology research company focused on Galvorn, a conductive material that is lightweight, flexible, and high-performing. Galvorn originated at Rice University, developed by Nobel Prize–winning scientists, and is designed to enable new designs while mitigating system-level tradeoffs in demanding applications. The material is used by customers in aerospace, defense, automotive, energy, and consumer technology to produce lighter systems, improve durability, and unlock capabilities not attainable with traditional materials. In 2023, DexMat partnered with Hexoskin to develop and test prototype wearables that integrate Galvorn materials.
