Delphi Academy of Los Angeles is an independent, pre-K through grade 12 co-ed day school nestled in the foothills of the California San Gabriel mountains. Delphi Academy offers a well-rounded career and college prep program with a strong emphasis on practical learning and a rich selection of co-curricular activities.

Proficiency-based since its inception, Delphi Academy emphasizes applied knowledge and the ability to study independently. Credit is earned only by demonstration of ability. Graduation requires of every student proven skills in critical thinking, ethics, communication, teamwork and leadership; hundreds of hours of self-generated projects covering several major ability zones; and solid grounding in the traditional academic subjects with an emphasis on classic literature. Reason, creativity and integrity are given the highest priority in all areas and levels of the program.

The Los Angeles campus was originally established in 1984 in La Canada-Flintridge as the southern California campus within the network of Delphi Schools, Inc. Established in 1973, Delphi Schools, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to revitalizing education through effective elementary and secondary schools. The Los Angeles campus purchased nine acres of land in the equestrian community of Lake View Terrace and opened its newly built campus in January 2003.
