CyberUp is a nonprofit focused on creating accessible pathways to cybersecurity careers. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, the organization has operated since 2015 to help meet the rising demand for cybersecurity professionals. It delivers its mission through three programs: PowerUp, which introduces K-12 students to cybersecurity concepts; LevelUp Training, which prepares participants for industry certifications like CompTIA Security+; and CyberUp Apprenticeship, a year-long, employer-supported program combining hands-on work with tailored credentials. It targets students from K-12 through adults from diverse backgrounds who are seeking entry or advancement in the field, and it partners with schools, communities, and employers to broaden access. The organization has helped thousands start or grow cybersecurity careers, reflecting its broader educational and workforce goals. In January 2024, CyberUp partnered with Centene Corporation to develop an apprenticeship program aimed at veterans.
