Community Day School is a small, independent day school in Sarasota, Florida, serving students from early childhood through grade 8. It operates as Goldie Feldman Academy, described as the first Hershorin Schiff Day Schools of Tomorrow, offering a rigorous, project-based program in a diverse learning environment. The school's program is grounded in Jewish values, emphasizing honesty, integrity, mutual trust, and respect while preparing students to excel academically, become global citizens, and act with compassion. The Justin Lee Wiesner Early Childhood Learning Center provides classes for babies and children up to four years old, and Goldie Feldman Academy was founded in 1992 as an expansion of that preschool. The program has a long-standing history of personalized, academically accelerated learning intended to place graduates in the region's most competitive college-preparatory high schools and colleges, and it is accredited by the Florida Kindergarten Council and the Florida Council of Independent Schools.
