Community Bridges - Maryland is a nonprofit organization focused on education administration and youth development, aiming to help girls from diverse backgrounds become capable students and leaders. It originated in 1997 in the Long Branch area of East Silver Spring and later broadened its scope to include elementary through high school programming, adopting a two-generation approach by 2010 that engages families. Core programs include CB Girls, a leadership and advocacy initiative for girls ages 9-18 in grades 4-12; CB Family Institute, which equips parents and guardians with skills and social capital; CB Mentoring for women 25 and older who mentor younger girls; and CB College and Career, which provides resources for college and career readiness. Based in Silver Spring, Maryland, the organization operates within the education administration field, serving underserved youth and their families in the local community. In January 2026, it announced that Washington Women in Public Relations had selected it as a pro bono client for 2026–2027.
