The Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) is a public authority at the center of Quebec’s construction sector, responsible for applying labour relations law, managing workforce regulation, and overseeing professional training under law R-20. Its mandate is to support industry growth while ensuring coherent development of the working environment. It serves about 27,000 employers and nearly 198,000 workers, administering benefits and retirement plans and monitoring compliance on construction sites with regulations and sectoral collective agreements. Its operations are based in Montreal with nine regional offices, offering career opportunities across functions such as information technology, human resources, communications, customer service, finance, and legal affairs. In March 2023, CCQ launched its first employer-brand campaign, L’effet papillon, reflecting an initiative to present itself to employers and workers.
