Colonial Coatings Corporation was established in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1982 with the goal of providing specialty coating services to the aerospace industry. In the 1990’s the company grew to be a key supplier to Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky Aircraft, and other global sub-tiers. In order to accommodate our expansion, the company was relocated to a larger facility in nearby Milford, Connecticut. Today, we have developed into a company that serves most prime aerospace contractors and the commercial sector; a trusted applicator for OEM parts and overhaul repair work. Colonial Coatings extensive knowledge of standard practices and solid dedication to quality results has greatly contributed to its role as a leader in the industry for anodizing, surface sealing, sacrificial and thermal spray coatings.
