The Cherokee Metropolitan District (CMD) is a not-for-profit, quasi-municipal utilities district based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was established in 1957 and operates under Title 32 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, providing water and sanitary sewer services primarily to Cimarron Hills, along with maintenance of community parks, golf courses, and street lighting.

The district encompasses about 6,300 acres and serves roughly 17,945 customers, including an outlying area about 20 miles east of the main boundary that covers 800 acres and nearly 100 additional taps. CMD aims to ensure uninterrupted water and sewer service, high-quality water, clean parks, and well-lit streets, while pursuing high-quality service at a reasonable cost and planning for future needs.
