Inspired by our city's rich distilling history, Chattanooga Whiskey was founded in 2011 with a mission to bring "Whiskey to the People."  

Following the success of our community powered "Vote Whiskey" campaign, we eventually became the first distillery in Chattanooga in over a century.  In 2015, we began the patient process of crafting our malt-forward style of straight bourbon whiskey we call Tennessee High Malt. After 8 years in the making, our Tennessee High Malt was released in 2019, marking a new era in our company history with a whiskey that celebrates the future as much as the history that got us here today. 

Chattanooga Whiskey is proud to craft whiskey at two locations: Our Experimental Distillery and our Riverfront Distillery, both located in downtown Chattanooga. Our Experimental Distillery is open to the public, and as one of the top tourist attractions in the city, showcases our history as well as the hundreds of unique Tennessee High Malt concepts only produced and served there.  Our Riverfront Distillery serves as the production home of our signature Tennessee High Malt bourbons, 91 and 111.  Riverfront also is home to more than a dozen other varieties scaled up from the Experimental Distillery, and is not open to the public at this time. 

Our award winning products in distribution are Chattanooga Whiskey 91, 111, 99 Rye, Bottled in Bond, Barrel Finishing Series, and Single Barrel.
