Central Michigan Life is Central Michigan University's student-operated media company founded in 1919.

The paper is published and distributed two times a week (Monday and Thursday) during the spring and fall semesters. The editorial staff produces the paper the day before it is published (Sunday and Wednesday).

CM Life's circulation is currently 7,000, and the paper is distributed by Mid-Michigan Industries at newsstands in all CMU academic buildings and residence halls, as well as 100+ businesses within the Mount Pleasant community.

In addition to the paper, CM Life produces several special-interest publications including Central Michigan Pub & Grub, Central Michigan Apartment Life, Best of Central Michigan and Campus Cash.
