Catholic Charities of California, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit representing the twelve Local Catholic Charities Organizations in California at the state level. Every year, these organizations provide more than 1.5 million professional social services to Californians who need help. Founded in 1986, Catholic Charities of California is the single point of access to this statewide network. In support of Local Catholic Charities Organizations, Catholic Charities of California:

Is the point of contact with state officials, legislators, foundations, and other statewide and national organizations;
Applies for funding on behalf of Local Organizations and leads administration of regional and statewide programs;
Provides technical assistance, and leadership to Local Organizations in developing model programs; and
Facilitates collaboration and networking among Local Catholic Charities Organizations.
