Our Director, Harvey D. Karkus, M.D., Diplomate, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, was one of the very first providers of Methadone Maintenance and  acquired over 40 years of experience in addiction medicine and treatment. Carnegie Hill staff provide services in both English and Spanish, for an array of chemical dependencies. The facility offers a multitude of group counseling sessions from Relapse Prevention to Life in Recovery, as well as varying intensities of individual counseling tailored to the needs of each individual patient. Our Opioid Dependency clinic offers individual counseling with Medication Assisted Therapy under the supervision and guidance of our experienced and caring clinicians.
