BUILD is a nonprofit organization founded in 1999 that uses entrepreneurship-based, experiential learning to unlock the potential of students in under-resourced communities and position them for success in high school, college, and beyond. Its four-year program, starting in 9th grade, engages students in developing real businesses with peers and community mentors, including pitching ideas to funders and launching ventures. The curriculum aims to reinforce Common Core standards and cultivate 21st-century skills while promoting engagement in school.

In addition to entrepreneurship experience, BUILD provides guidance on navigating the college application process and exploring college and career options, with opportunities to expand their businesses or participate in community internships. The organization serves roughly 2,000 high school students across programs in the San Francisco Bay Area, Washington, DC, Boston, and New York City.
