Bryant Park Corporation is a not-for-profit, private management organization that acts as a cooperating business improvement district formed by neighboring property owners to oversee Bryant Park in New York City. It was established by Daniel A. Biederman and Andrew Heiskell, with support from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, to restore a park that had declined in the 1970s. Under a 1988 agreement lasting 15 years, management and improvements were entrusted to the organization, and the park reopened in 1991 after a four-year renovation funded at a higher level than prior city management. The effort is described as the largest private-management and privately funded initiative applied to a public park in the United States and has drawn attention from the public, press, and nearby institutions. In recent years Bryant Park Corporation has expanded programming through collaborations, including a 2025 partnership with Paramount Plus for movie nights and a collaboration with the New York Guitar Festival.
