Brundage Mountain Resort is a mid-sized, family-owned recreational facility based in McCall, Idaho. The 1,500-acre ski area emphasizes a relaxed, uncrowded experience with generously wide groomed runs, plentiful powder, and five well-spaced chairlifts that reduce lift lines for skiers and riders. Winter guests take a high-speed lift to the summit for expansive views of the surrounding wilderness and Payette Lakes. The resort operates Brundage Backcountry Adventures, a SnowCat program that opens up about 17,000 acres of Payette National Forest for backcountry exploration. It remains family-owned by descendants of one of the original founders, and in 2026 it expanded community services with a year-round daycare program to help local families and ski guests.
