Breckenridge Trucking, Inc. is a family-owned business dating back to 1973. The company was originally founded by Donald Breckenridge when he purchased his first two tandem trucks hauling mostly grain and gravel locally. In 1974, Donald joined forces with his younger brother, Robert Breckenridge, who owned a straight truck, forming a partnership known as Breckenridge Brothers. This led to Donald purchasing his first semi and dump trailer in 1988.

In 1990, the family tradition continued with Donald’s son, Daniel Breckenridge. Daniel purchased his first semi, grain trailer and dump trailer upon graduating from high school, hauling mostly construction materials and grain locally for hire. In 1991, Daniel purchased Robert Breckenridge’s share of Breckenridge Brothers and in 1992 the business was incorporated becoming Breckenridge Trucking, Inc.

In 1997, the company acquired its hazmat and broker permits and authorities. As the company’s needs changed, Daniel and his wife, Susan, formed B & B Trucking, Inc. to accommodate the addition of updated and newer equipment and additional employees.

In 2005, Daniel purchased Donald’s share of Breckenridge Trucking, Inc. and the company was restructured. Breckenridge Trucking, Inc. currently provides Hazmat services and Breckenridge Transportation, Inc. currently provides Brokerage services. Currently, there are three companies owned and operated by Daniel and Susan Breckenridge.
