Since its foundation in 2007 more than 41 million euros have been donated to more than 20,000 social projects in over 180 countries. The platform is financed by offering digital solutions to companies for use in their CSR strategies, as well as through private donations and support from strategic partners. betterplace.org is proudly subscribes to Transparency International's Initiative Transparente Zivilgesellschaft (Initiative for a Transparent Civil Society). betterplace.org is run by the gut.org non-profit company, a social enterprise based in Berlin.
