BW, LLP is a small creditors'  rights law firm in Kansas City primarily focused on servicing the health care industry & higher education.  Our vision is to be the go-to source for creditors conducting business all throughout Missouri, Kansas & Iowa, having a reputation for high quality legal solutions. The partnership in its current form came into existence January 1, 2015, but don't be misled: our predecessor Larry Enkelmann practiced in collections for nearly 30 years in KC.  He passed in 2009 & we took over shortly thereafter.  Together Matt Bessine & Scott Walterbach have over 20 years of experience practicing law & have been running the business since 2009.  We handle high-volume dockets using state-of-the-art technology.

We also handle FDCPA defense, creditor representation in bankruptcy, worker's compensation claims for health care providers, probate claims, and other creditors' rights issues.  Scott Walterbach also represents numerous tax foreclosure sale investors.  Matt Bessine practices in wills, estate planning & business start-ups.
