Beacon Foundation is a nationwide not-for-profit organisation based in Tasmania, with offices in Hobart, Launceston and Burnie. Beacon has facilitated programs with schools and businesses since 1988 to bring real-world work experience into the classroom and inspire young people to think about their futures long before leaving school. Our programs are tailored for students in Years 7-12 attending schools where the ICSEA* is less than 1,000.
