Beacon College is a nonprofit liberal arts institution located in Leesburg, Florida. It is the United States’ first accredited baccalaureate program dedicated to educating students who have learning disabilities, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences. The college was founded in 1989 by a group of parents concerned about the lack of higher-education opportunities for these students, and it operates within the broader higher education landscape as a specialized institution serving this niche.

The school offers a range of education-support resources, including a Writing Center and a Math lab with assistive technology, as well as staff such as learning specialists, life coaches, counselors, peer mentors, and occupational therapists to help students achieve academic and personal goals. In 2026, Beacon College and its foundation were named on Forbes' Accessibility 200 list for the second consecutive year, recognizing its work in supporting people with disabilities.
