The Balboa Park Cultural Partnership is a nonprofit organization that coordinates collaboration among 26 arts, science, and cultural institutions located in Balboa Park, San Diego. Its purpose is to enhance organizational efficiency, foster innovation, and promote excellence across member groups that include museums, performing arts organizations, theaters, cultural centers, gardens, and the San Diego Zoo. By providing a forum for collective goal setting and shared advocacy, the Partnership helps its member institutions address issues of mutual benefit while delivering learning programs, sustainability initiatives, and community-facing projects to the park community. Based in San Diego, California, the organization convenes park staff, trustees, and volunteers to develop and implement programs that support the institutions’ missions and public engagement. The Partnership formed in 2003 to unify member voices and coordinate efforts, with ongoing activities such as the Sustainability Program, Learning Institute, Park Pass, and the Art of Science Learning, among others. In recent activities, it has launched initiatives like Caught Green-Handed to highlight eco-champions within Balboa Park and has engaged in partnerships with local entities to advance its collaborative goals.
