Anderson Rifles is a product line produced by Anderson Manufacturing, a company based in Hebron, Kentucky, in the sporting goods manufacturing sector. Its flagship rifle is described as a no-lubrication firearm featuring a permanent RF85 treatment embedded in the metal, which the description attributes to reduced friction and faster action. The product has undergone testing by Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The business originated in 1973 as the William C. Anderson Company in an old barn, later becoming Anderson Tool & Die in the 1980s and adopting the name Anderson Manufacturing in 2007 to reflect its shift toward production machining, laser cutting, fabricating, welding and powder coating. It emphasizes a longstanding philosophy of treating customers as partners and takes pride in the workmanship and quality of its customers' products.
