American Building Supply is a wholesale distributor and manufacturer in the building materials sector, focusing on doors, door hardware, windows, and millwork. It operates as a subsidiary of Jeld-Wen Windows and Doors and markets products under the Millennium Door and Doormerica brands. The company traces its origins to 1985 in Sacramento, California, when it emerged from a small family-owned business that adopted an overnight loading program to guarantee next-day delivery. ABS maintains a multi-state footprint with locations in California, Arizona, Washington, Georgia, Colorado, Texas, and Hawaii, supported by eight distribution centers and three manufacturing facilities across seven states, along with its own delivery fleet. It serves builders, contractors, and remodelers in residential and commercial markets, offering interior and exterior doors, aluminum frames, hardware, and related products, as well as value-added services such as pre-finish, machining, prehung, and welding. In 2018, Jeld-Wen Holding completed its acquisition of ABS, reinforcing ABS's role within a larger portfolio of door-related products.
