Miami Alumni of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program at Miami Dade College. More than 300 business owners have now graduated since the program's inception in 2013. Cohorts 1 through 15 to date. Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses has partnered with Miami Dade College to provide small business owners in the greater Miami area with access to practical business courses, financial capital, and powerful networking opportunities to help their businesses grow. Through the support of the Goldman Sachs Foundation, business owners selected to participate will receive a scholarship covering the full cost of tuition and program materials. Practical Business Education The curriculum developed by Babson College, the No. 1 ranked business school for entrepreneurship for 19 consecutive years*, focuses on practical business skills that can immediately be applied by business owners, including accounting, negotiating, marketing and human resources management. During the program and after graduation, participants can use their new knowledge to quickly make a positive impact on business outcomes. Capital to Expand Entrepreneurs learn how to better position their businesses to access financing and capital. A Network of Support Small business owners will receive one-on-one business counseling and powerful networking opportunities. The program provides this expert advice and technical assistance through partnerships with national and local business organizations, professional services firms and the people of Goldman Sachs. Multiplying Economic Impact 10,000 Small Businesses graduates learn to translate the knowledge they garner from the program into increased revenue and job growth.
